- Longer, the better.
- Use a combination of Character (Lowercase and Uppercase), Symbols and Numbers.
- Contain any part of your User/Login Name.
- Be identifyable as part of your Address, Birthday, Childrens Names, Pets Names, Sports Teams etc - in other words NOT something that is commonly known to be associated to you.
- Kept in Word or Excel files and kept on your Desktop or infact anywhere on your Device.
- Kept on Paper on your person.
- Kept on Paper in you desk drawer etc.
Whilst this seems a likely solution and is certainly convenient - is not really that safe, as anyone who uses your device can use the browser itself to display all the Login Credentials you have asked your Browser to remember.
These are usually provided by your Anti-Virus provider and offer a secure solution to storing and retrieving your login credentials. There are also a number of Apps that be used on Mobile Devices.
